Welcome

Welcome to WWLR

We are a Registered Charity, number 1197778 staffed entirely by volunteers. We serve the hospitals in the Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, providing a radio service to the hospitals in the Trust, and to hospices, old persons’ homes and/or similar institutions and to staff, relatives and friends of patients and the wider community via the internet.

Supporting us

We need your support

WWL Radio needs funds to continue its important work. These funds are used to pay licences, insurance, repairs, updates and more. Since Covid, some of our support through grants has dropped or gone altogether.

If you can help in any way then contact us via using our contact page here or use our new online donation form to help us continue our mission.
